Sejak pagi-pagi lagi adik aku menelefon, bertanyakan hal emas. Dia pun nak membeli emas ini. Aku tumpang gembira mendengar hal itu. Pertamanya, aku gembira lantaran telah wujud rasa ingin kaut hartanah sebanyak-banyaknya dalam diri seorang anak Melayu.

Memang orang Melayu kita masih berharapkan agar kerajaan bantu mereka. Ini penyakit yang bahaya dan ia amat payah dikikis selagi Umno masih memerintah dan berkuasa.

Umno akan selalu membenamkan perasaan bergantung orang Melayu kepada Umno. Umno itu pembela bangsa Melayu kununnya. Dan, PAS pula tidak mengambil ruang kesempatan ini untuk beritahu kepada Melayu bahawa mereka itu pun pembela umat Melayu.

Ini kerana, mereka tidak mahu dikaitkan dengan Melayu kerana kununnya faham kebangsaan itu samalah dengan Umno. Mereka mahu Islam dan Melayu itu jatuh ke tempat kedua atau pun ke tempat yang entah ke berapa barangkali.

Perkara kedua yang aku suka apabila adikku ini sudah bercita-cita membeli emas ini, ialah sebab aku mula faham bahawa umat akan mendengar cakap kita yang disertai dengan perbuatan serta tindakan. Cuba kalau aku tak beli emas dan aku minta mereka beli. 'Confirm' mereka ragu-ragu.

Nabi Muhammad s.a.w pernah suruh para sahabat buat satu benda. Kalau tak silap, benda ni ada kaitan dengan amalan fardhu haji. Jadi, Rasulullah s.a.w jadi 'tension'.

"Cuba kanda laksanakan dulu, dan barulah nanti mereka akan ikut kemahuan kekanda," bisik salah seorang isteri baginda. Rasanya Aisyah yang sebutkan hal itu kepada baginda.

Memang benar! Setelah baginda berbuat demikian, serentak dengan itu, para sahabat pun terus mengikuti jejak langkah baginda. Moral of the story, penguasa kena buat dulu apa yang dia nak rakyat bawahannya lakukan. Barulah rakyat yakin dan percaya.

Salah satu hal yang ingin kulakukan bagi mengamankan dunia ini, ialah melalui jalan peperangan. Perang di atas nama cinta dan kemanusiaan. Sebab itu, perang anjuran anbiyak dan peperangan Muslimin itu dijalankan dengan penuh ketat, rapi, diikat dengan syarat-syarat tertentu.

Perang anjuran Islam itu sangat dekat dengan kasih sayang. Jangan bunuh kanak-kanak, wanita, orang tua dan kaum lelaki yang tidak bersenjata.
